Went back for for 2nd try. Better this time. Normally go for daily specials. Lab day holiday lunch. Dine in. Monday daily special. Minute chicken cake noodle $14.95 requested gravy on side, garlic ong choy, 4 pieces crispy gau gee (didn't get it in last order). Owner Aaron, cousin Casey, and Nephew were there. Serving portion are good for price. Bring down empty boxes for them next time. (For their take out orders)

Good family style dinner. Snuck in before the dinner rush at 5pm, and the place got really busy 30 minutes later with takeout orders. Food was delicious and plentiful. Really liked the salt and pepper squid and the crispy gau gee.

Today I stopped by Golden Duck to get a dinner plate for my friend. Pretty big restaurant lots of tables 10 tops also seating for 4 also booths available. I noticed most Chinese restaurants do also sell homemade shrimp chips along with rice cake as well . This particular restaurant has all kinds of seeds , almond cookies , also tea cookies. I've also noticed their Almond cookies is from Sing Cheong bakery Chinatown. I guess restaurants it's easier for them to consignment products and just mark up the price a little . Instead of making homemade goods and it may not sell . Support local

Located next to Texaco station and across of Zippy's Mccully. Parking behind and on the side of building. Went for dinner and I ordered the lunch plate which was very tasty and good from the chow mein, Kau yuk, sweet sour spareribs. The Dinner plate was also good the cold ginger chicken, Beef Broccoli, Sweet sour pork and the fried rice also was very tasty. The chicken chow fun also was very good and tasty and all the portion are good size. Service was good, they also were very busy with seat down customers and a lot of take out orders.

Golden Duck is what I call old school local Chinese restaurant! The food is comfort food for me as it reminds me of my childhood days going to eat with my grandma. I love their cold ginger chicken, black bean spareribs and crust gau gee cake noodle! Those are my go to foods for comfort! Parking is the only thing that minus out a star it's so limited. So I recommend ordering to go! I definitely recommend my fat cells always does the happy dance for comfort food! Of course I will be back!

No MSG headache next morning! Absolutely fabulous! Private parking lot adjacent to Texaco on Piikoi & S King St. Decided NOT to order through Grubhub as it takes a while and the food consistency changes when it starts to get cold. Since I ordered at the restaurant, I had to wait a bit after as phone orders placed prior and in house diners were being prepared. Perused through the rack of Chinese seeds, cookies, gau, lucky candy and shrimp chips while I waited. Order received piping hot. Everything tasted so good. Good things come to those who wait. Today's order consisted of Chicken Fried Rice, Sweet Sour Pork and Honey Walnut Shrimp. The fried rice is not overly seasoned, but it's not salty, either. (I should have ordered the one w the hamyee.) The shrimp were huge. Great coating and sauced, but I would have liked the mayo sauce to have coated the walnuts as well. A bit dry without it. The ss pork, no green peppers, was good with a light coating and nice ss sauce. Not fatty pieces. Very meaty. The food at Golden Duck is consistently good, so I don't mind stoping here and getting back into rush hour traffic. Well worth it.

I love the "dinner plate" special here! Reasonably priced, plentiful, and delicious! Ample parking, restaurant is clean and there are lots of tables. The dinner plate consists of Beef Broccoli, ginger chicken, sweet sour pork, fried rice, and wonton topper. I consider the fried rice here "the best" and everything else is good as well as the price!
